A boring Part 1 The Voice Finale 2017

As I watched The Voice Part 1 Finale on Monday night, I struggled to stay awake. I was all ready for a mind blowing entertaining experience but was terribly disappointed. Of course Brooke Simpson was strong as usual. Perhaps is the pressure associated with a finale but these acts performances led me to ask "where is the voice?"

Flawed Finale performances

Listening to the performances by the final four Voice contestants, I marvel at how they go there and my heart ached for those voices that were silenced far too early in the competition. The finale would have been much more interesting had there been more diverse voices in the finale. Since all my favorites like Davon Fleming, Shi’Ann Jones and Noah Mac. With eliminations of powerful voices and performances there is not much left to cheer on The Voice.

The lucky finalists are mostly country singers which makes one think that the only ones who vote are country fans which makes for a finale that does not appeal to other music genre lovers. Jennifer Hudson in her first Voice is left with no contestants in the finale. The two hour finale of the voice airs tonight.

Doug Jones says Trump's sexual misconduct allegations in the past and he should not resign

The newly elected democratic senator Doug Jones who won a shocking victory over Republican Roy Moore said he doesn't think Donald Trump should resign as a result of Sexual misconduct allegations. While other democrats have called on Trump to resign in light of the allegations, Jones is taking a different stance.

Doug Jones speaking on a Sunday morning show says he doesn't think that the President should resign due to the sexual misconduct allegations. He says it is time to get on with real issues facing people in the country today. Jones appear to suggest that since those allegations were made before the election and Donald Trump was elected, they are no longer significant. He echoed the White House position when Sarah Huckabee Sanders told reporters that the people elected Trump decisively which answered all those allegations.

Donald Trump had been accused by multiple women of sexual assault before his election. These allegations have resurfaced with the rise of the #metoo movement. Trump himself has been caught on tape outlining his strategies for assaulting women.

I laughed so hard, my dog was alarmed. Melissa McCarthy's impression of Sean Spicer was so hilarious and realistic, I can't get enough of it. And I am not alone as I woke up to find it was trending on social media and making headlines in the news media. Saturday Night Live has pulled off a coup for sure by casting Melissa McCarthy in the role of the hot tempered Sean Spicer. Melissa McCarthy donned an oversized suit and had just the right hair and makeup to nail an impressive and hilarious impression of Sean Spicer, White house press secretary. Legal troubles continue to haunt pesident elect Trump

Trump
The Donald Trump's presidency will be one for the history books in more ways than one. On Thursday, Donald Trump had to give a videotaped deposition in a lawsuit brought by Trump against celebrity chef Jose Andres.
